How to play Geodle

A mystery country is hidden each day. Type any country name to guess: after each attempt you get clues: the continent, compass direction and distance to the target, and whether its GDP per capita, population, land area and urban population are higher or lower than your guess. Find the answer in as few guesses as possible. All players share the same mystery country each day.

There is no point total here: the score is simply how few guesses you needed. Every guess must be a real country, and wrong guesses cost you nothing beyond the attempt itself, so it pays to probe deliberately.

Distance and direction narrow the map quickly, while the four statistical hints separate countries that sit close together. The continent editions restrict the answer to that region, which cuts the search space considerably.
